Summers that end too soon (Jen Cervantes)
Summer is my favorite season: warm desert sun, evening rains,
pages of inspiration, tree houses, clear blue, turtle races, bubbles, climbing
roofs, river rafting, sprinklers in the rain, thunder that shakes the roof and
lightning that splits the sky--lazy nights with my 3 girls, time to wish, and time
to remember the long stretched days that end too soon. Summer is the time of my youth when I read and
believed and “looked at the world with glittering eyes.” I hope I still do.
This summer was filled all of that and this
and this
All the stuff memories are made of!
