A World Full of Wonder by Darlene Beck Jacobson
Last month I had the chance to travel to the Pacific Northwest to see the Oregon coast and visit the coastal Redwoods in California. Words are not adequate to describe the sense of awesome wonder and breathtaking beauty I was lucky to witness.
The rugged yet inviting coastline tells a story that transcends time and makes a person feel insignificant alongside such majesty.
Walking through the redwood forest left me speechless.
Nature is an inspiring place filled with such wonder if we choose to stop for a moment and let it surround us and fill us with it's grandeur.
If you're looking for inspiration for writing, look no further than the natural world. And don't be afraid to look up.
When you look up, there are no limits to where imagination can take you.
Darlene Beck Jacobson visited Redwood National and State Parks and Humboldt Avenue of the Giants on her recent visit to the Pacific NW. When she isn't nestled in the arms of a redwood, she tries to soak up nature closer to home in New Jersey.
