Thank You For Being A Friend...
by Charlotte Bennardo
“Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
Our theme is friendship. Everyone's life has been touched by friendship. Some people have friends from childhood, high school, college, parenthood, post-children, and later-life stages.
And some friendships don't last. People, situations, and lives change and it's impossible, or undesirable, to continue the friendships.
But the things to remember what you learned or gathered from each friendship. Memories, skills, connections, or insights into ourselves. No friendship is ever a waste if we are enriched, educated, taught, or motivated. We can be grateful for all the gifts from friendship.
And that's what we can pass on to youth. Friendships may not last forever, but the benefits of friendship should never be overlooked or dismissed.
