I always find it hard to focus during the summer, when I'm not at the day job. It's one of my biggest fears about quitting next year!Tracy Barretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17668453323039794253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5488191966351130111.post-54812282343429956422011-06-21T09:25:11.811-05:002011-06-21T09:25:11.811-05:00Holly, that's hilarious! :) And Erin, I love t...Holly, that's hilarious! :) And Erin, I love that "zone!" I work best in the first few hours I'm awake or just before bed so I steal so time then. (though if I'm in the zone, everything goes to the wayside until the book is done.) Good luck finding motivation! maybe you need to time yourself for 40-minute sprints? :)Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08598967756657353219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5488191966351130111.post-58462614744209120812011-06-21T08:41:03.359-05:002011-06-21T08:41:03.359-05:00I LOVE #3, Lisa! I often give myself crazy page-count goals, so that I can't overthink or second-guess my drafts...Also, to keep from overthinking, I sometimes take my glasses off when I'm drafting. (I'm so nearsighted that with my glasses off, print disappears from the screen. I REALLY can't look back at anything I've just typed!)Holly Schindlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16742207239654178917noreply@blogger.com
